Yep, I consulted doctorwhoscarf.com...and then ignored a lot of it, lol. This is sorta a loose interpretation...but in my defense, Ed didn't think he'd be likely to wear one that looked exactly right (and therefore kinda ugly) despite his who-fan status. And I'll be damned if I'll knit a 15 foot scarf that will never be worn!

I know what you mean about the yarn adding up. Just using plain old Red Heart I think I spent twenty-five dollars just on that one. And you can totally forget about the colors really matching, just get them to match the rest of the scarf.
